"Daojin" has bright and vibrant colors, with bi-colored flowers, and sometimes it can also produce fully red flowers similar to the original variety "Taiyang". This variety has a high blooming rate, vigorous growth, and upright branches. The scales on the one-year-old branches are numerous. The scale buds are purplish-red with white edges and a prominent white spot on the top, splitting open. It belongs to the complex peony variety, with chrysanthemum or rose flower types, and the flower buds are round and not sunken. The petals are large, moist and firm, arranged neatly, with colors ranging from pure red to half-red and half-pink, or red and pink stripes. The pistils and stamens are red, and the anthers are abundant, yellow. The flower diameter × height is 18×6 centimeters.
